This January Attingham Park is inviting people to find out more about volunteering at this popular National Trust site at a series of open days.
Whether you’re looking to develop new skills, gain some experience for your CV, or have a go at something you’re always wanted to do, whatever your motivation; there’s a flexible volunteer role to suit everyone from Parkland Gardener to Mansion Welcome Guide and from Run Leader to Events Volunteer.
The New Year is traditionally a time for resolutions, new starts and beginnings and prospective volunteers can drop in and find out more about volunteering at Attingham Park on Saturday 17 January and Monday 19 January from 11am – 1pm and Friday 23 January from 2pm – 4pm.
Jessica Owens, Volunteer and Community Involvement Manager said, ‘There’s a huge number of different ways to get involved, volunteer with us and make a real difference this 2015. Attingham has a dynamic, lively and friendly team of people and we want to find more people who’d like to join us!’
Attingham Park welcomes over 370,000 visitors a year – the work carried out by the property’s dedicated and enthusiastic volunteer team is vital to help conserve and enhance this special place for everyone to enjoy. 2015 is expected to be another busy and exciting year with extended opening hours from 11am in the Mansion and the start of a host of projects inside and out, in front of and behind the scenes across the site.
